Our team
Kent Oyler, President

Kent Oyler is a serial entrepreneur, having so far co-founded 18 distinct business ventures. Oyler founded and serves as CEO of OPM Services, Inc. (2001 #84 ranking on INC 500). Oyler co-founded and took public High Speed Access Corp. in 1999 and co-founded Darwin Networks. He also founded and later sold OPM Flats, the nation's leading operator of heavy-duty flat rail cars and later co-founded bCatalyst, a technology seed fund and business accelerator. Other businesses have been in steel fabrication, consumer market research, and leasing. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Oyler received business and MBA degrees from the University of Louisville. He also worked as a banker and as CFO at a large privately held manufacturer. Oyler has been honored as the national Treasurer of the Year by CASHFLOW magazine, E&Y Master Entrepreneur of the Year, a Presidential Point of Light, YPO Legacy Award winner, UofL Business School Distinguished Alumni of the Year, and Business First Small Business Leader of the Year. He currently serves on over a dozen civic boards and committees including United Way of America MDRT, Pritchard Committee, YPO, WPO, GLI, ACG, Metro Police Foundation, The Enterprise Corp, and the University of Louisville Board of Overseers, as well as several for-profit Boards. Outside the office Kent enjoys running, skiing, travel, and attempting to be a gentleman farmer.

Chuck Woods, Executive Vice President
Chuck Woods is a 1981 graduate of the University of Louisville's School of Business. He is responsible for managing the company's financial services business, My Contract CFO, and acts as the CFO for Icelease Partners, Radcliff Entertainment, Henderson Entertainment, Simpak International and several other client and portfolio companies. He has been instrumental in securing and maintaining both bank and venture capital funding for those enterprises. Chuck also serves on the board of directors for various for-profit companies. Budget and cash forecast modeling, in addition to financial statement design, preparation and analysis are his specialties. Prior to joining OPM Services in 1995, he was Chief Financial Officer for Grant Homes, a large regional homebuilder based in California. Mr. Woods' experience also includes ten years as Accounting Manager and Regional Controller for General Homes Corporation, a large Texas-based builder of single-family homes. When not crunching numbers, Chuck enjoys singing, traveling and playing with his grandchildren.

Jody Patterson, Director of Client Relations
Jody joined OPM Services in February 2008, and she is responsible for the day-to-day accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions for OPM clients and portfolio companies. For seven years prior to joining OPM, Jody served as Business Manager for a Louisville plastic surgeon. She has also held marketing and managerial positions with a large group ophthalmology practice, University of Louisville School of Medicine, and East Carolina University School of Medicine. Jody graduated from East Carolina University in 1989 with degrees in Music and Business Administration. She is an avid road cyclist and equestrian, competing in 3-Day Eventing and Dressage disciplines.

Christ Bryant, Manager of Account Services
Receiving his college education in Massachusetts, Chris graduated from Worcester State University with a Bachelor in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. His professional experience began at a Boston CPA firm where he performed bookkeeping and financial statement preparation. Before his much anticipated return home to Louisville, Chris held the position of Financial Accountant at Imperial Distributors, a recognized leader throughout New England in distribution and merchandising of supermarket non-foods. Inventory cost maintenance, as well as financial and productivity analysis was the core of his role. Chris’ passion for Health and Fitness influenced him to obtain a Personal Trainers Certificate, as well as an advanced certification as Corrective Exercise Specialist. He enjoys fitness, motorsports, camping, hiking, snowboarding and many other outdoor recreational activities.
